Lapeuan Mitochondrial Skin Regeneration 3D Video Production

This cosmetic 3D video was created to explain the causes of skin aging, the role of mitochondria, and how NMN and NAD+ function within the skin.

A key goal of the project was to make complex cellular mechanisms easy to understand without making the visuals feel overly clinical or medical. Cells, mitochondria, and skin structures were recreated with 3D graphics, while a gold and beige color palette was used throughout the video to maintain a balance between scientific credibility and a refined aesthetic mood.

Visualizing the Relationship Between Skin Aging and Cellular Energy

The video begins by showing how skin aging is connected to a decline in cellular energy.

Changes in the skin surface and cellular structure are presented together, followed by a visual explanation of how reduced NAD+ levels can affect the cell’s ability to produce energy. Korean and English subtitles were added where additional explanation was needed, making the content suitable for both domestic and international use.

Mitochondria play a central role in cellular energy production, but presenting them too realistically can make the visuals feel overly clinical.

For this project, the essential mitochondrial structure was preserved while transparent materials, gold-toned lighting, and smooth camera movement were applied. This approach maintains the scientific context while creating a polished and sophisticated visual style that fits naturally within a cosmetic brand environment.

Visualizing How NMN and NAD+ Work

The animation shows stabilized NMN being delivered into the cell, converted into NAD+, and then utilized in mitochondrial energy production.

The movement of active ingredient particles, their entry into the cell, and changes around the mitochondria were divided into clear stages so that the mechanism could be understood more intuitively. Rather than simply introducing the ingredient, the video connects the product to its underlying scientific concept while maintaining a balanced cosmetic visual style.

Connecting Skin Regeneration with the Product Showcase

In the later part of the video, the skin structure gradually becomes healthier as cellular energy is restored.

The skin layers and overall tone transition into a more balanced condition, followed naturally by a Lapeuan product showcase. The packaging was presented with its premium brown and black color palette, while soft natural lighting and a minimal environment were used to maintain the same visual mood established in the ingredient explanation scenes.
