AESTURA × Pochacco Character Collaboration 3D Video Production

This character collaboration video was created for the partnership between AESTURA and Pochacco. The project focused on preserving the original design and personality of the 2D character while naturally integrating both the character and AESTURA products into 3D environments inspired by nature and the sea.

For character collaboration content, accurately presenting the original character design and brand image is often more important than relying on overly elaborate visual effects. The overall composition was designed to maintain Pochacco’s cute and cheerful personality while ensuring that AESTURA products remain clearly visible as a central part of the advertisement.

Natural Integration of 2D Characters and 3D Environments

When a 2D character is placed within a 3D space, it can easily appear disconnected from the background or lose the proportions and visual impression of the original design.

To avoid this, we carefully adjusted the character’s scale and position, camera perspective, background depth, and lighting. The original character design was preserved while making Pochacco feel naturally integrated into the surrounding 3D environment.

Balanced Composition Between Brand and Character

The video was created around seasonal environments such as forests and the ocean. The background colors and overall atmosphere were designed to complement the character’s bright and friendly image.

At the same time, the composition was carefully balanced so that the products would not be hidden behind the character or treated as secondary elements. The goal was to give both the character and the brand products a clear presence within each scene.

Preserving the Original Character Design

Content featuring licensed characters must accurately maintain established design elements such as facial features, body proportions, colors, and expressions.

Studio99 preserved the original form of the character without unnecessary modifications, while developing the backgrounds and animation within the permitted creative range. This made it possible to create new campaign visuals while maintaining the personality and visual identity of the original character.
