3D Video Production | Cosmetic Visualization of Sulfur-Based Ingredients and Their Effects on the Skin
This project is a 3D video production created to visually explain the characteristics of sulfur-based cosmetic ingredients and how they interact with the skin.
Rather than simply listing technical information about the ingredient, the video was structured so that the brand’s visual identity and the product’s key concept flow naturally together. The first half focuses on the clean and premium image of the product and its ingredients, while the second half uses 3D graphics to visualize the characteristics of sulfur and its effects on the skin.
Product Showcase Highlighting the Brand Image
The opening of the video was designed to introduce the brand atmosphere before moving into the ingredient explanation.
Starting immediately with technical information could make the content feel too heavy or difficult to follow, so the video first presents showcase scenes where the product and ingredient forms are revealed naturally.
Clean lighting and controlled camera movement were used to create a refined and premium visual style. The overall color palette and visual density were also carefully adjusted so that the product showcase flows smoothly into the ingredient visualization scenes.
Visualizing the Form and Texture of Sulfur
One of the most recognizable characteristics of sulfur is its vivid yellow color and rough surface texture.
The video recreates these visual qualities in 3D using colors and materials inspired by real sulfur. Petri dishes and laboratory tools were also incorporated to suggest an atmosphere of ingredient research and cosmetic development.
To avoid creating a generic laboratory look, the lighting and object composition were refined to match the visual language of a cosmetic advertisement. This approach allows the technical character of sulfur-based ingredients and the sophisticated image of the cosmetic brand to be communicated together.
