Breast Surgery C-Arm Imaging System 3D Visualization | Breast Imaging & Needle Guidance Animation
Project Type
3D Medical Animation
Date
2025
Location
South Korea
Project Overview
This project is a 3D imaging system visualization and medical 3D animation created to clearly explain breast tumor localization and image-guided surgical procedures. The imaging environment and procedural workflow using a C-arm imaging system were presented step by step, allowing medical professionals to intuitively understand how the equipment is used in actual clinical practice.
The video presents the entire procedure in a continuous flow, from imaging to identify the tumor location and guiding the biopsy needle to image-assisted tumor removal. This structure clearly communicates the role of the equipment and its intended use.
Visual Approach
The internal structure of breast tissue was recreated in 3D, and the process of locating the tumor through C-arm imaging was visually demonstrated. The animation then shows the biopsy needle approach using a 3D image-based Needle Guide, helping viewers understand how imaging guidance can support procedural accuracy.
During the tumor removal process, Intraoperative Imaging was visualized to show how medical professionals continuously monitor the lesion location during surgery. High-resolution fluoroscopy capable of identifying small lesions was also represented visually, allowing the 3D imaging system visualization to clearly explain the imaging characteristics and operating principles of the equipment.
Considering the actual clinical environment, the C-arm interface, screen transitions, and equipment motion were designed together to reflect the procedural workflow. The result is a medical device-focused 3D imaging system visualization animation that clearly demonstrates the equipment’s operation and its role throughout the procedure.
