This project is a 3D explainer animation created to effectively communicate the core technology and therapeutic mechanisms developed by Celliaz. More than a corporate introduction, the animation was designed to visually explain the scientific principles behind the company’s retinal regeneration and vision restoration strategy, making complex biotechnology concepts easier to understand for a broad audience.
Utilizing high-quality 3D animation and advanced medical visualization techniques, the project illustrates the structural differences between healthy and damaged retinal tissue while demonstrating the progression of retinal degenerative diseases. The animation also visualizes how Celliaz’s therapeutic technology interacts with damaged retinal cells, presenting cellular-level regeneration processes in an intuitive and engaging manner.
Visualization Approach
The project focuses on translating complex life science concepts into clear visual narratives through realistic anatomical modeling, cellular animations, and scientific motion graphics. Detailed retinal structures were recreated to show disease progression, tissue degeneration, and the biological challenges associated with vision loss.
Particular emphasis was placed on Celliaz’s proprietary PROX1-based therapeutic platform. Through microenvironment simulations, cellular-scale visualizations, and dynamic scientific storytelling, the animation explains the mechanism of action and highlights the unique technological advantages of the therapy. By illustrating biological processes that are otherwise invisible to the human eye, the content helps viewers better understand the scientific foundation and therapeutic potential of the technology.
Advanced CGI techniques were used to create seamless transitions between anatomical, cellular, and molecular scales, enabling complex regenerative mechanisms to be communicated with both scientific clarity and visual impact.
